You will find that some of these people are actually not big fans of simplicity(#3, #28) while others have a varying opinion on what simplicity is. Still, I believe that each one of them gives us something to think about and helps us build our perspective about the concept.

Really liked “Simplicity is making the journey of this life with just baggage enough.”
Wish people would realize this and stop indulging in foolish luxuries.
I love these quotes! Some of them I have seen before and some not. Thanks for posting them. Stumbled.
@ Hanna: Thanks! I totally agree with your sentiment.
@Stephen: Thanks for the kind words Stephen. Glad you liked them
Obviously, simplicity and the quest for it have been on the minds of some great people through the ages. I really like simple people best — in unintelligent people — but people who have deliberately chosen a simple approach to their lives. I also think they make better parents especially now that I have a teenager and things can “feel” complex at times. It can be a challenge to maintain simplicity, but it’s always worth it in the end.
Kamille,
Very nicely put. If you are consciously trying to be simple it really reflects a lot of effort, understanding of life and insight on your part.
